The Room of Surrender [Spring Fever]

A room. In the middle, a circle. Charcoal, soil, gold, sand, living plants, weeds, dead plants, dried flower petals forming layers of color, the same plants, solidified in metal, coffee, abstract monochrome paintings, the same colors recurring over and over, repeated in different layers, oil, beeswax, brushes, paint cans, sheets of paper, working materials, notes, buckets of muddy water and wilting weeds, mold, sparkling glass jars, live snails, instruments.
A song is performed acoustically by the artist whenever there are 3 visitors in the room.
Visitors are asked not to walk or stand. Many stay for a long time, and long conversations arise.
The work was taken down and burning material collected
Community was invited to a wood carving workshop, to carve what they wanted to let go of
Hot dogs were served
Wood carvings were thrown into fire & hot dogs grilled on the remains of material
